‘Only Light’ is about my journey in Australia since arriving in August 2018.
It’s about my travels around the country and the people I met along the way, falling in love, breaking up and everything in between, and my life experiences being a dish washer, van-lifer, macadamia farmer and touring musician whilst surfing and exploring the coastline.
I wrote and recorded these songs to share them with the world and hopefully bring some joy, light and colours to everyone’s lives.
The album was recorded in Byron Bay, Australia with Tay Oskee and Garrett Kato and it includes the singles ‘Jonson Street’, ‘Amber’, ‘Colours’ and ‘I'll Be There’.

‘Colours’ & ‘I'll Be There’ (2020)
We are all needing ‘colours’ in our lives during these strange times. I wrote this song early this year to someone special, when she was sick and in a lot of pain. We had a conversation that week about colours and how we associate places with different colours. The inspiration was to sing her a song to try to ease the pain and take her to her favourite place through colours.
- I hope that this song brings you joy and takes you to somewhere special.
Recorded and mixed by Garret Kato in Byron Bay, Australia.

This song is about being in a long distance relationship, struggling to be present for each other but staying positive and doing everything to keep the love alive.
- I wrote it in December last year, inspired by a trip I did to surprise a special human on other side of the world when we most needed each other.
